Immanuel College Environmental Centre with Ironbark

Immanuel College in Buderim chose Equisol’s environmentally-friendly Pro E365 stabilising oil for the ironbark in their new Environmental Centre. The centre is located adjacent to the Colleges’s own 23-hectare rainforest campus. With a deep focus on using the latest in sustainable materials and technology  in the centre’s construction, Equisol was naturally the go-to product. Ironbark was also an obvious choice. A classic Australian hardwood, with a Janka hardness rating of 14 (that’s a tough timber!) and class 1 durability for an above-ground life of more than 40 years. Dense, heavy and saw-blunting, but it will last.
